About Starr

Unlocking a student's unique potential through personalized support is the cornerstone of my teaching philosophy. I focus on building confidence and fostering a genuine love for learning, rather than simple memorization. By actively listening and observing how a student interacts with new material, I adapt my methods using visual aids, hands-on activities, or interactive discussions. I keep students motivated by breaking complex problems into manageable steps and celebrating every small success. Since I have experience helping students navigate challenging concepts, I prioritize clear, consistent communication to build a collaborative environment between us. Seeing a student's confidence grow as they master new skills is the most rewarding part of my work. I am eager to help your student succeed in subjects ranging from Math and Science to Study Skills. I look forward to creating a supportive space where your child can truly thrive.
