Hello and thank you for considering me for the care of your loved one! I am in my sixth year as a home school teacher to a child on the autism spectrum. Prior to this, I was a special education teacher, specializing in teaching verbal language, functional and academic skills to students K-5 with the diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder. I have also worked with students with Cerebral Palsy, ADHD, rare metabolic disorders and severe food allergies. I am fluent in the science of Applied Behavioral Analysis. I have Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and a Master's Degree in Education. I am a mother of a wonderful 18-year-old young man. Before children and college, I taught and coached swimming and would love to incorporate that into any nanny position that I was hired for. My favorite thing to do with my charges are meaningful outings, such as to the library, museum (I'm a member of the Bullock and Thinkery), parks and even grocery stores! Learning can happen no matter where we are!
