Making a positive impact on children's lives is what I'm all about! I've spent many years caring for children of all ages in both home and school environments, even running my own childcare and preschool, and managing an after-school program. My approach is patient, calm, creative, and friendly. I genuinely care about people and value building lasting relationships with families. I communicate with parents at the end of each day, sharing highlights and addressing any challenges. I am happy to provide updates throughout the day or written reports, whatever makes you comfortable. I am very comfortable enforcing your household rules with consistency. I love engaging children in a variety of activities, from board games and fort building to crafts, bike rides, cooking, and creative play. I'm happy to help with cooking, carpooling, light housekeeping, crafts, and swimming supervision. Caring for one family at a time allows me to focus on your individual needs.
