Supporting the well-being and independence of seniors is work I truly enjoy. With five years of experience , I bring a warm, patient, calm, and professional personality to the people I support. I enjoy getting to know each person--their history, interests, routines, and what makes them feel comfortable and valued. I especially enjoy companionship and spending time together, whether that means conversation, arts and crafts, games, outings, sharing interests, or simply enjoying each other's company. I'm also happy to help with errands, grocery shopping, transportation and doctor's appointments, meal preparation, and light housekeeping. I have a history of calm responsiveness to unexpected situations, and helping with confusion and behavioral changes using gentle redirection and engagement. I am CPR and First Aid trained and value clear, straightforward communication with families. I believe each person is valuable and sacred and deserves to be treated with kindness and respect.
