For over 20 years, I have been dedicated to helping students thrive. As a certified teacher with a graduate degree, I focus on building confidence and fostering a love for learning. I empower students to develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills for long-term success. I vary my teaching strategies, incorporating visual aids, hands-on activities, discussions, and practice problems. Regular parental check-ins and feedback are important to me. I celebrate small successes and break down complex problems into manageable steps. Communication is essential for understanding student needs, progress, and setting clear expectations. Regular updates help parents stay informed and reinforce learning at home. Witnessing a student's "aha!" moment is the most rewarding part of tutoring. I am eager to help middle school, high school, and college students with math at the library, coffee shop, or online. I have a car and am comfortable with pets.
