Experience: 10 yrs
I've worked in the aging industry for over 18 years - as a private duty caregiver, a caregiver in an assisted living facility, the Executive Director of a large assisted living facility, and as a regional trainer for Alzheimer's and Dementia caregivers. I have a Master's degree in Gerontology (aging). I cared for and lived with my grandparents, one with Alzheimer's, until they passed. Caring for the aging is my passion! Dementia clients are my specialty. I'm seeking 1-3 hour shift clients on weekdays - ideal for pop in visits, meal prep, companionship visits, assisted living support, hospital checks, giving family caregivers a break, etc. I have current clients and fill slots as they open. I am not available for full time work due to my other clients. I'm professional, flexible and easy-going, but a stickler for safety. Strong work ethic, honest and dependable. Work environment and client must be smoke free. I have a flexible schedule, so don't hesitate to ask if there is a need.
Very professional and on time. Helpful in providing transportation to my older father. Concerned with safety and very transparent. Flexible to suit our needs. Highly recommend!
