About Stacie

My grandpa was in his mid 80s when he got0 Parkinsons and Dementia. It runs very heavily in my family. I was there for the last 5 yeas off and on helping care for him with my family. We took turns. I have a big heart for the elderly as my grandpa was like my dad, he told me everything and I told him everything, and he was my favorite person in the whole world. I was there with him holding his hand at the end. It's a hard process of watching someone you love struggle for the last years of their life, but if I can be there to help care for them, make them comfortable, and they know someone who truly cares for them is with them no matter what, that's a successful day in my book.
