Making a difference in someone's life is what drives me as a caregiver. I hold a college degree and have certificates of completion in the following courses: Montessori Approach for Dementia and Alzheimer's, Caregiving and Home health. I can provide assistance with daily activities. My approach is patient, compassionate, and friendly. I understand the importance of earning trust, engaging in activities when feasible and allowing as much independence as is safely possible. I can effectively handle confusion and agitation. I communicate with families through daily reports, verbal updates, and regular texts or phone calls. I adapt to changing routines and de-escalate stressful situations.
