I am a retired teacher. While my background has primarily focused on educating children, I have had 5 yrs of experience caring for my grandmother. It was very important to her and our family that she remain in her home of 65 years. After my grandfather's death, I took a leave of absence to assist caring for her. My duties included companionship, transportation to appointments, shopping/errands, meal preparation, laundry and light housekeeping. I have also worked with 2 lovely, senior, ladies. 1 in Assisted Living, who I provided companionship, errands, bathing, dressing and laundry/light housekeeping and a lady, age 93, who resides in her home. I provide many of the same services for her. I am a very clean, organized, detailed person. I have great communication with the families I work with. I have tremendous patience, a nurturing personality and great devotion attending to those in need. I appreciate your interest in my profile and look forward to hearing from you.
