About Stacey

Stacey has been working for our family for over a year now. She started when my daughter was 10 weeks old. I was very nervous about leaving my baby with a stranger, but Stacey turned out to be such a great addition to our family. My daughter lights up when Stacey shows up in the morning. Stacey is attentive, energetic, and responsible. Stacey knows the different stages of child development and tailors the activities appropriately. When my daughter was super young, Stacey stayed at home all day and took her on walks in the stroller. As she got older, Stacey helped her learn to crawl, pull up, encouraged her to walk, and now plays games and sings songs with her. She also worked with my daughter using baby sign language, and that has really paid off. We trust Stacey to take our daughter to the park, the library, play groups, etc. I appreciate so many things about Stacey from a parent-point-of-view. Among them are how she is super punctual, she's very good at communicating with me how the day went, she's great at asking if there is anything she can help with around the house, and she's great at just taking care of everything baby-related (laundry, food prep/feeding, washing bottles/sippy cups, etc.). She even worked with me to figure out the whole cloth diapering thing! We decided to put our daughter in daycare, which is the only reason we are not using Stacey full-time anymore. We still plan to have her babysit. Stacey is a wonderful nanny, and I'll definitely miss having her around every day.
