About Stacey

Last year, I had the pleasure of helping my boyfriend take care of his mother. She had crippling rheumatoid arthritis and needed help with daily tasks, so I stepped in when other family members couldn't be there. I helped her out of bed in the morning, washed her incontinence pads, and assisted in her getting dressed. I made breakfast and helped her eat. I also performed light housekeeping duties like dusting, vacuuming, laundry, and kitchen clean-up. I would stay and watch t. v. or we'd chat about our lives. I am in no way medically trained. I just know how difficult it can be taking care of an aging parent, and having someone to help out can be beneficial mentally and physically for the other family members. I offer empathy, compassion, and patience.
