Compassionate, reliable care taker with 10 years of experience caring for terminally ill and dementia patient's. I truly love what I do. I can provide compassionate, respectful, patient-centered care to adults and seniors in their homes. I bring hands-on experience with activities of daily living, mobility assistance, meal preparation, medication reminders, run errands, lite housekeeping. I began caring for seniors and adults with chronic illness several years ago as a family caregiver, stepping in to care for my husband who had terminal cancer and later my father who lived with Alzheimer's Originally from Boston, Ma .. moved to Fla with my husband who fell ill; my parents lived part time in Naples Fla and my father had Alzheimer's . I took on the caretaker roll for them both! I wouldn't change a thing: albeit it was difficult seeing them decline- I felt comfort in helping them maintain their dignity while providing safe, nurturing and constant care.
