About Stacey

I love caring for people of all ages AND their four legged friends. I am currently a news producer at a local station. I have been back in Omaha for seven years after spending 25 years in Los Angeles as an entertainment news writer. I had a successful dog walking and boarding business in Hermosa Beach for a few years before having to sell it to focus solely on my writing and producing career. I am comfortable caring for seniors because I took care of both of my grandmothers in their final years. I was also the sole caregiver to my mother in the final years of her life living with dementia. But, note, I am not a licensed nurse or caregiver. Besides working full time at the news station, I am also a tutor to kids K-12 at Huntington Learning Center here in Omaha. I teach English, reading, writing, and ACT prep. I am also a mom to a 21-year-old and also the mom to three dogs. I would be honored to assist your family in whatever kind of care you need.
