I have cared for a woman with MS for over 10 years and helped with her medical and household needs, including grocery shopping weekly. I took care of my Grandma with dementia for 3 years and even became her legal guardian. This included taking her to doctor appointments and being responsible for her round the clock care and needs. I also have experience with wound care & respiratory needs. I am dependable and have an upbeat, fun personality and am always trying to communicate positivity even when someone is having a difficult time. I am very organized and clean and incorporate those skills in the homes I serve in. I can help with light housekeeping, Dr. appointments, laundry, errands & other needs. I was so lucky to find Stacey when I did a year and a half ago. My mom was living alone with undiagnosed dementia, strokes, and mental health issues and had refused help for years. Her situation was becoming very serious so I went out on a limb and asked Stacey if she could try to get my mom to her first Dr appointment. Ever since that day, Stacey has been such a light in our lives. She quickly earned my mom’s trust and helped to pull her out of a very dark place. My mom considers Stacey one of her closest friends now. Stacey has gone above and beyond for my family more times than I can count. She is incredibly kind, thoughtful, communicative, and just an all around angel of a person. I can’t give her enough praise for how she has helped my mom in a million different ways. She also helped me navigate difficult situations with APS, guardianship, and finally assisted living placement. I never could’ve gotten my mom to the healthy place she is today without her strength, patience, and support. Stacey truly cares about people and anyone would be lucky to have her in their lives.
