I can help with dressing, bathing, meals, and companionship. I am very confident in my abilities to care for your loved one in your home or theirs. I have experience with meal prep/feeding, bathing, wound care, catheters, feeding tubes, as well as providing daily care and companionship I am willing to transport to Doctor appts and shopping and do light housekeeping . I am extremely flexible and usually able to change or adjust schedules as they need to be. I can do day or evening shifts as it's required. I have a great sense of humor and am extremely easygoing and patient. I love to play games or just watch tv and I'm willing to go for walks or help with exercise.. Wow! What a god-send. I can barely express my gratitude for the in-home assistance that Stacey provided for my 88 y/o mother suffering from dementia. Several years ago I hired caregivers through a service that over-charged and under-performed. When my frustration with the caregivers assigned by the company peaked I found Stacey on care.com. My mom is very suspicious and distrusting of new people, yet Stacey won her over during the first visit and quickly became a "true friend" (in my mom's words). Stacey did everything I asked of her to support my mom and more importantly, gave me valuable feedback concerning my mom's condition and behavior, which allowed me to adjust my care of my mom very quickly AND allowed me to REST knowing my mom was in good hands. Stacey quickly became a partner in my mom's care; not just a hired hand. Stacey is amazingly compassionate, competent, observant, and communicates clearly and timely. She made my mom's life better and mine! I highly recommend her! I would still employ Stacey if I hadn't eventually decided to move my mom out of state to be closer to me. Yet, I will always consider Stacey a friend.
