About Spencer

Empowering students to reach their full potential is at the heart of my teaching practice. I believe that every learner possesses unique strengths, and I focus on building confidence rather than simple memorization. By actively observing how you interact with new material, I tailor my approach using visual aids, discussions, or hands-on practice to suit your needs. When concepts become challenging, I break them into manageable steps and connect lessons to your personal interests to keep you engaged. I hold a college degree and have one year of experience supporting students across subjects ranging from math and science to test preparation and special education. I prioritize clear, consistent communication with both students and parents to ensure we are always working toward your goals. Nothing compares to the joy of witnessing your "aha!" moment when a difficult concept finally clicks. I look forward to helping you succeed.
