About Soren

I've been in childcare for almost a decade now, both professionally and casually. I started babysitting in 2014, then in 2019 kicked off my career at the YMCA. Starting as an instructor, I worked up to lead, then program supervisor. In summer 2025 I worked for a private childcare provider and school with an emphasis around art before moving back to the Seattle area, taking up supervising for the once again. Now on the path to becoming a certified teacher, I am currently a 1:1 para-educator looking for some part time gigs. I'm looking for a job that offers some flexibility. I am open to weekends and evenings since I also work full time during the week. In my spare time, I like to paint, draw, write, read, foster kittens, hike, assemble Legos, and bake. Also teaching myself how to embroider.
