About Sophie

Bringing joy and nurturing care to children is my passion. For the past four years, I've had the privilege of working with children aged 4-11. The past three summers I worked as a camp counselor for the YMCA, and completed my student teaching in a 3rd grade STEM classroom. I recently graduated from Washington State University with a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. I am certified in First Aid Training and CPR Training. I am a Certified Teacher looking for a summer job. I am patient, friendly, and dedicated to providing a safe and stimulating environment. I enjoy engaging kids with outdoor sports, board games, and educational activities. I'm comfortable caring for up to two children, and I'm happy to assist with cooking, light housekeeping, travel, and swimming supervision. I follow parents' lead on household rules and preferred communication methods. I look forward to the opportunity to support your family and create lasting memories with your children.
