About Sophie

Salutations! I'm a certified Montessori teacher for birth through age 3, although I have worked with ages all the way up to middle school age. I hold a college degree and have supplemented my education with Early Childhood Education (ECE) and Early Child Development coursework. I'm a patient, creative, and friendly caregiver, adept at engaging children with art activities, puzzles, music, movement, and Montessori activities. I'm also comfortable providing swimming supervision, light housekeeping, and cooking & meal preparation. I maintain current First Aid Training and CPR Training. I love meeting each child where they are developmentally and I provide regular updates to parents, always following their preferred communication methods. While I respect household rules, I am comfortable enforcing them. I'm happy to care for one child at a time. Ultimately, I find immense joy in supporting families and witnessing children thrive, and I hope to bring that same dedication to your family.
