About Sophie

Hi! My name is Sophie and I have been caring for children in a familial capacity all my life and in an official one for 3 years as a nanny, an au pair, and as a camp counselor. I am a recent college graduate with a degree in theater and history and love bringing these interests into my work with kids. I have experience as a tutor and learning coordinator for children with special needs and learning differences and am passionate about seeing all children thrive. While I am comfortable with enforcing household rules, I am typically easy-going and fun loving, ready to join in any games and activities. I grew up around big dogs (my family always had great danes) so I am comfortable with big dogs and even dogs with some behavioral issues. I am originally from Colorado and am very excited to be starting the next chapter of my life in a city as dynamic and exciting as Chicago!
