I am a French native and moved from New York City to Charleston 10 years ago. I live in James Island with my husband David. I found myself unemployed 4 years ago. I decided to take this opportunity to do something I love instead of returning to the work force. Since then, I have been working with families. Children ranged from newborn to 7-year-old, including twins. I love running errands, organizing households, spending time with children and tending to pets. I can tutor your children with French and will transport them safely back to school and activities. If you need help with any of the above tasks, please send me a message. Sophie is incredible - Loving, energetic, thoughtful, creative, enthusiastic and naturally invested in children's development. We have known her for over 12 months caring for our two boys (ages 2-4 years) as a back-up nanny and French playgroup leader. The kids adore her and are immediately drawn to her playful nature. Particularly as we speak a mix of French and English at home, Sophie's bilingual skills have been a much appreciated extra bonus. She is likewise extremely professional, reliable and communicative. Could not give her higher praise as a childcare provider and as a part of our village. :)
