About Sophie

Hi everyone! My name is Sophie, and I'm super excited to be joining Care. com! A little bit about me: - I'm originally from Washington, DC. - I graduated with my Bachelor's Degree in Communication from UCSB. - I've been living in San Diego for a little over a year now, working full-time as a Communications Manager for a non-profit in La Jolla. A little bit about my childcare experience: - I've worked as an overnight summer camp counselor, after-school program counselor, and Girls on The Run counselor. - I've been babysitting for over 10 years, with care ranging from newborns to teenagers. - I nannied for a family in SD full-time before starting my full time job. - Rate: $27-$35/hour (depending on #kids) I love working with kids (and have missed it) & am looking to gain some extra $ on the side to help save for future travels. I figured Care was the best way to kill 2 birds with one stone! Super excited to get started, and to meet some awesome families! :-)
