About Sophie

Hello! My name is Sophie, and I'm a responsible 35-year-old in the midst of a career change, currently looking for part-time nannying work in the Clinton Hill area. I truly love spending time with babies & kids, and have been babysitting my 8-year-old niece as she's grown up, starting in her infancy. I'm professional, patient and prioritize clear communication. I strive to create a nurturing, warm environment where kids feel comfortable & empowered. I'm open to working with any aged children, from newborns up. Ideally, for 15-25 hrs/week, anytime M-Th. My rate is $30/hr. I'm CPR certified. For more background: I've worked in podcast production/audio journalism for the past decade, and am likely going back to grad school next fall. In my free time, I sing in a choir, and enjoy music, staying active, and taking my dog on walks around Brooklyn.
