About Sophie

With six years of experience caring for children of all ages, I'm passionate about creating a nurturing and stimulating environment where kids can thrive. My previous babysitting experiences solidified my desire to positively impact young lives, fostering their growth and development. I'm patient, creative, and approachable, enjoying outdoor sports, board games, and puzzles with children. I am in my second year at Indiana University, majoring in Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences and Education. Some of my course work has included Early Childhood Development classes. I'm comfortable caring for multiple children at a time and happy to help with cooking, light housekeeping, crafts, and swimming supervision. I am American Red Cross First Aid certified and CPR Certified. I follow parents' lead on household rules and preferred communication methods. I am looking for a summer position and am looking forward to discussing how I can bring my skills and enthusiasm to your family.
