About Sophie

My callings in life boil down to my love for the arts and my ability to connect with children in a way that invites enthusiasm surrounding their creativity, emotional comprehension and expression, and their ability to connect and understand themselves holistically. In school I studied music, with a minor in psychology. These studies directly reinforce my understanding of the importance of creativity and expression in young minds. I have worked as an educator, mentor, and counselor for children of all ages, various backgrounds, and all over the spectrum of ability and special needs. In addition to caring for your children, I am well equipped as a cook, a diligent cleaner, and a great multitasker. I can be flexible with hours and responsibilities on any given day and am eager to create a strong and trusting relationship with any family I work with.
