About Sophie

Hi, my name is Sophie and I have a passion for helping and caring for others, especially children. I graduated from nursing school in January and am looking for babysitting gigs until I begin work at the end of July. I have a clean driving record, CPR certified and tons of childcare experience. I began to babysit on my own when I was 12 years old. I am comfortable with all ages and have experience as a nanny in the U. S. and as an au pair in Norway and New Zealand. While earning my first degree, I volunteered as a teacher's assistant in Cambodia where I taught children English between the ages of 8-12, was part of a mentoring program for underprivileged middle schools, and was an elementary school tutor. In nursing school, I was a night nanny and babysitter for various families. I am a very patient, responsible and creative person, and love to read, cook and be outdoors in my spare time!
