About Sophie

Hi! My name is Sophie and I'm a full-time graduate student and TA at UNH aiming to get my MS in Nutrition and Dietetics. I graduated in 2024 with my BS in Dietetics from UVM. I've always had a passion for childcare, and have been babysitting and nannying since I was 12 years old. In the past, I worked with children as a co-coach for a middle school cross country team. Two years ago, I interned for Farm to School Program, traveling to different elementary schools and teaching the importance of culinary skills and nutrition. I was also a mentor for three years, is a program that uses after school activities, village mentoring, and one-on-one mentoring in order to close the opportunity gap in low-income communities. I am energetic, and love playing games, doing crafts, or going outside. I'm also responsible and organized. My goal is to create an equally fun and safe environment when babysitting! I hope to babysit full-time this summer, and part-time in the academic year.
