About Sophie

Hi I'm a transmasc theatre maker and full time nanny during the school year in Brooklyn! I bring to the table experience working as a full-time and live-in nanny, tutor, teacher, and camp counselor. From this I have learned how to multitask and prioritize time management-while at the same time being flexible because we all know working with kids is unpredictable! What really sets me apart as a nanny is I love to play! I will never take your child to the park and sit on my phone while they play; I will be playing tag, building crafts, working through math problems, or whatever else their imagination dreams up. I am someone who is present, hands-on, and ready to work through any challenge with clarity, care, and patience. I have been with the same family in Carroll Gardens for over three years which has really deepened my sense of responsibility, respect, and care for those I work with.
