About Sophie

I am a 27-year-old Little Rock native filmmaker and educator as well as caretaker. I have been a consistent babysitter, nanny, counselor, tutor or teacher with various families and camps/schools/facilities since I was 14 years old and worked throughout college and afterward both as a nanny and as a pre-school teacher and infant caretaker. I just received a Master of Fine Arts in Film from UCA and have a BA in Film from UCA as well, with minors in French and Honors Interdisciplinary Studies. I can play guitar and I enjoy both playing and singing for kids as well as teaching the basics of the instrument. In addition to a childcare background, I am a multi-disciplinary artist and musician, bringing this into my work with kids and making a fun, creative environment, structured by my understanding of the importance of routines and learning. I love to explore, play, chat, read, dance, and activate the mind!
