About Sophia

Hi! My name is Sophia (she/her) and I am currently a sophomore at NYU. I am majoring in English and Political Science and minoring in Spanish. I went to a Spanish Immersion school for 6 years, and have kept taking classes since, so I am fluent in the language. I love to read and write more than anything. My favorite authors are Patti Smith and Donna Tartt. I am certified in Red Cross training. I have been babysitting since I was 13 for two boys, 6 and 9. Since then, I have babysat for a toddler (15 months), a family of three (3, 5, 7), and a family of two (4 and 5). I can refer to any of the parents if you have any questions!! Three words to describe my personality are patient, ambitious, and thoughtful. I love working with kids and helping out families because it fills me with so much joy. I learn so much from their imaginative minds and it's very fulfilling to help parents in any way that I can (I know I'll need it one day too!)
