About Sophia

I have quite a mixture of experience working with kids! I worked at a summer camp in Maine as a in bunk camp counselor! I bunked with 17, 8-9-year-old girls. My job required me watch them 24/7 while on the clock and ensure their safety, comfort and happiness! My duties mainly consisted of getting them from activity to activity, helping them maintain hygienic habits, problem solve social, emotional and physical needs, tend to wounds and aid in getting them the proper care, assist in night and morning routines, help with daily chores, and ensure they eat and dress themselves. On top of this each counselor taught a different trade, and I worked in teaching girls ages 8-15 metal work and jewelry making! I also worked as a nanny for a 4-year-old boy for a summer as my first job! Alongside that, I have babysat for numerous family friends and just love getting to know each child's unique personality and I am just truly inspired by the passion and light kids emanate!
