About Sophia

I grew up in a family of 8 with special needs siblings, and I've been teaching kids ages 8mo-14yrs old dance and swimming for over 4 years now. I am CPR and FUN-certified who just adores working with kids. I wouldn't trade it for anything in the world. I like working with kids because it feels so special to be guiding kiddos and help them create their path. A part of me finds it to be very healing to help the next generation become people. I started working with kids when I was 16 officially, but with 8 siblings, it was hard for me not be involved much earlier - I've been enjoying it every second since the day my little sister was born. Now, as much as I love changing a diaper and diffusing a meltdown over a bluey tonie, my skills really shine when it comes to making a child feel at home. My approach to nannying starts with problem solving and meeting your child at their level - making them feel seen and heard in all situations. I also make a pretty awesome macaroni portrait!!
