About Sophia

My name is Sophia, and I am originally from Oregon but recently moved to San Diego. I have 3 years of experience working with children of different ages, including caring for 6-month-old twins and an 11-month-old boy. My background also includes CPR and First Aid training, as well as coursework in early childhood development. I believe having a strong understanding of child development is an important part of providing thoughtful, age-appropriate care and recognizing each child's individual needs. I have always loved working with children and believe that being a nanny is about so much more than simply providing care. I am passionate about creating a safe, nurturing, and fun environment where children feel comfortable being themselves, exploring their interests, and learning new things. I love being outdoors, doing arts and crafts, and finding creative activities that keep children engaged and excited.
