About Sophia

Hello! I'm a senior at the University of West Florida studying biomedical sciences. I'm seeking a caregiving role that's ideally 1-4 days a week. My goal is to make a positive impact in the lives of children while pursuing my academic aspirations in medical school. My experience in caregiving extends 7 years from coaching youth sports, tutoring, and mentoring to having the privilege of working with special needs children, including those with ADHD, autism, and learning disabilities. Additionally, I've cared for sick children, providing them with compassionate care. Beyond caregiving, I have provided tutoring services in math, science, and English. My academics and effective teaching methods helped kids achieve their goals, and I find joy in seeing their progress. I understand that the nature of caregiving requires adaptability and reliability. Whether it's supporting or meeting the unique needs of each child, I am committed to delivering the highest level of care and assistance.
