About Sophia

My name is Sophia and I am a dedicated, warm, and professional childcare provider with 10 years of experience caring for and teaching children from infancy through school age. As of 2021, I hold a Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education from Salve Regina University, where I also minored in Special Education. I have completed 3 years of post- graduate coursework as well at Providence College, working towards a Masters of Education in Literacy, K-12. I have spent the past 6 years teaching in schools and in classroom settings, and aim to bring that same level of developmental knowledge, care, compassion, warmth, and fun to create enriching experiences in your home. In addition to childcare, I assist with household routines, light cleaning and meal prep, literacy support, transitions such as naps/ bedtime, potty training, and more!
