About Sophia

Hi families! I'm Sophia, attending the University of Florida with over 6 years of childcare experience, starting in middle school. I've cared for children of all ages, including children with autism and behavioral challenges. Caring for kids is truly my passion--it rarely feels like work! I'm patient, nurturing, dependable, and creative. I love making each child feel safe, understood, and celebrated through crafts, outdoor adventures, educational play, and everyday moments of joy. The relationships I've built with families mean so much to me. Saying goodbye when I moved away for college was one of the hardest parts of leaving home! I hope to build those same meaningful connections with a new family. I'm happy to help with meals, routines, homework, and school pickups. I have reliable transportation and am available Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays after church. Outside of childcare, I love running, going to the gym, and spending time with friends!
