About Sophia

Hi everyone! My name is Sophia! I recently moved to Massachusetts this past summer after graduating with a B. A in psychology from Loyola University Maryland. Originally from New Jersey, I have been working with children for around 10 years. I have been an official babysitter/nanny/mother's helper for around 8 years. I moved to Massachusetts to serve with Americorps for a year before pursuing grad school. I currently work with an organization called City Year that focuses on equitable education. I spend my days in a third grade classroom working as a mentor to my students. Together we work on social-emotional learning, ELA, and just having fun! I have experience with all ages and personalities when it comes to children. Because a typical service week is 50 hours, my schedule is very busy. But I am always open to discussing the occasional date night or weekend! I will have a more open schedule this summer!
