About Sophia

I'm a caring, responsible child care provider with a strong background in early childhood education and family care. Previously I worked with kids from 3 months to 12 years of age, at Breckenridge Child Care Center, where I led daily schedules filled with creative play, learning activities, & outdoor recreation. As an AmeriCorps intern with Rocky Mountain Prep, in Denver, Colorado, I supported public charter schools through community events, grant writing, and safe outdoor recreation programs for children & families. I've also worked at summer kid camps, nannied throughout high school, and helped care for my younger cousins over the years, giving me well-rounded experience with infants, toddlers, & school-age kids. I'm CPR certified, experienced in transporting children safely, and known for being calm, organized, and playful. Whether it's story time, arts & crafts, or a nature walk, I'm interested in creating a safe, engaging environment where children feel seen, supported, & loved.
