About Sophia

Hi there! I'm Sophia. I've recently graduated from Temple, where I got my bachelors degree in psychology with a focus in developmental psychology, and I have 8+ years of experience as both a babysitter and a teacher! Beyond childcare I am an attentive plant parent, pet parent and roommate, so I am well versed in domestic responsibility and am excited to work with your family in anyway I can. As an older sister I have perfected the art of after-school-routines. I know what it takes to orchestrate drop-offs, pick-ups, homework, dinner, playtime and bedtime. As a teacher and a psych student, I learned how to work one-on-one with children to discern their specific needs and create individualized plans to help them grow into the best, happiest versions of themselves. On my own I've been exploring fancy recipes, board games, and fun crafts! I am open to both full-time and part-time positions. I am CPR and first aid certified and I have my own car.
