About Sophia

Hi! My name is Sophia. I love working with children. I currently work at a summer camp with a group of 3-year-olds but enjoy helping children of all ages thrive in everything they do, while making sure they feel safe and cared for. I recieved my Associates in Early Childhood Education and am currently a Junior at SUNY Old Westbury, persuing Childhood Education (bilingual extension). The field has taught me a lot about child development and ways to keep children engaged through play, crafts, reading, board games, and outdoor activities. I'm comfortable around pets, helping with light housekeeping if needed, supervising swimming when needed, and following your family's routines and house rules. I believe every child is different, so I like getting to know their personalities and what helps them feel comfortable and happy. I'm fluent in both English and Spanish, and I'd love the opportunity to get to know your family and provide reliable, caring.
