About Sophia

Hello families! My name is Sophia. I am 25 years old from the Bay Area. I recently graduated from San Francisco state with my Bachelors degree in Public Health and am currently in grad school pursuing my Masters degree in Informatics, completely hybrid and self paced. I'd describe my personality as optimistic, reliable, and open-minded I enjoy working with children because I believe childhood is the most crucial part in the shaping of who we are. Curating a positive and joyful experience for children's everyday life fulfills and brings me joy! I started working with children in 2019, in high school being a girls soccer coach. when I graduated high school I became a afterschool program instructor at an elementary school teaching enrichment classes . I continued working with kids clinically, becoming a dental assistant. I am also an auntie to a 4-year-old! Overall, I hold lots of experience with children in various environments and most importantly, I enjoy it!
