With a graduate degree and five years of experience, I create engaging and patient learning environments where confidence and a love for learning thrive. I adapt my teaching through active listening and diverse strategies, like visual aids and hands-on activities. I connect challenging topics to real-world examples, celebrate successes, and break down complex problems. Open communication with students and parents is essential for building trust and ensuring optimal results. As a certified teacher, I am experienced with Individualized Education Programs (IEP) and student accommodation plans (504). I tutor a range of subjects, including Math, English, Test Preparation, Special Education, Study Skills, and History, for students from elementary school to college. Witnessing those "aha!" moments and seeing students achieve their goals is incredibly rewarding.
