About Sophia

I am responsible, reliable, and patient I'd describe my personality is empathetic, passionate, and caring I like caring for seniors because seniors, the disabled, and children are the most vulnerable. I realized during my mother's illness, the importance of finding reliable, caring caregivers. I was also a military wife, who ex husband and father of my children became blind while serving, it was difficult to find adequate, caring care for him. I would like to make it easier for other families. I have always been a caregiver, I started paid care giving after receiving my Social Work degree, I experienced some tragedies in my life and redirected who I would like to service. In my spare time, I like to spend time with my family, I enjoy cooking, movies, top golf and bowling. My skills include bathing, meal preparation, medication administration, transferring, transferring with equipment, Dementia/ Alzheimer care, womb care, CPR, CNA, hospice, companionship.
