About Sophia

Hi!! I'm an organized, responsible, and adventurous current college student looking for a summer job to make a bit of extra money. I've babysat my currently 11-year-old cousin since she was about 4, so I have experience working with both younger and older children. I'm particularly good at having fun with a child. I find I'm able to tune into the kid I once was to guide a child in explorative fun while not compromising my authority. I see my time spent with children I babysit as a "hangout" where we are working together to organize a day that is fun for everyone. I love connecting with children and am just as happy to see them as they are to see me. Caretaking has always come naturally to me: I see cooking, cleaning, and running errands as ways that I can do my work meaningfully. I have a big heart and am looking forward to having fun with and guiding your children.
