About Sophia
Experience: 7 yrs
I started working closely with animals at 14 when I became a volunteer at the Oregon Humane Society. Over the next four years, I gathered skills in caring for dogs, cats, and small animals of all ages and temperaments. I also completed a specialized course in dog behaviors, specifically anxious or aggressive dogs. This course gave me the confidence and skills to safely interact with and walk dogs with behavioral challenges. Outside of this volunteering, I have worked as a dog walker and pet sitter for about 7 years now. I'm happy to do overnight stays or day drop-ins for dogs, cats, and small animals!
