About Sophia

Hello, my name is Sophia and I am a 19 years old and I am currently attending SCC to get my associates degree in Biology. I have hands-on experience working with children through my time volunteering at Millwood Impact, an after-school program supporting elementary students with academics, meals, and activities. During my six months there, I built strong, meaningful connections with the kids and loved every moment. I also spent a year volunteering at Sacred Heart Hospital in patient transport, where I learned to stay calm and organized even in fast-paced environments. Outside of my volunteer work, I have plenty of personal experience growing up with four siblings, including a younger brother. I'm fun, patient, and kind when working with kids, and I take pride in being responsible, reliable, and easy to work with.
