About Sophia

Hello! My name is Sophia and I am pursuing a doctorate in occupational therapy at UTMB in Fall 2025. I am graduating with my bachelors in Disability Studies this May from Arizona State University. I am interested in a full-time caregiving position for this summer (approx. mid-June through end of August) and then part-time beginning September when UTMB classes begin. I have 8 years of caregiving experience (ask me about Camp CAMP if interested!) for disabled and non-disabled individuals and I can assist with all hygiene, feeding, and other personal care needs. I am Adult and Pediatric CPR/First Aid certified and comfortable working with feeding tubes, wheelchairs, and other assistive devices. I am happy to assist with housework, cleaning, laundry, and transportation as well! My passion is providing people with maximum independence and fun while ensuring the safest environment.
