About Sophia

Empowering elementary students to reach their full potential is my primary passion. I hold a college degree and specialize in English, Science, Art, and History. My approach focuses on building confidence and fostering a genuine love for learning rather than simple memorization. I assess your child's unique learning style through active observation and open communication, ensuring our sessions are perfectly tailored to their needs. By connecting complex concepts to real-world interests and celebrating every small victory, I keep students engaged and motivated. I believe consistent communication with families is essential for building a collaborative environment that supports long-term success. Nothing is more rewarding than witnessing that "aha!" moment when a student finally masters a challenging concept. Whether we meet at home, a library, or online, I look forward to helping your student grow and thrive.
