About Sophia

Hi! I'm a third-year student at DU with years of hands-on childcare experience. I started babysitting at 13, and since then I've grown to really value the relationships I build with the kids I care for. I do my best to make sure they feel safe, supported, and free to be themselves-whether that means diving into crafts, sharing silly stories, or just being a calm presence in their day. My experience includes a summer nanny position for two active kids (ages 5 and 7), as well as an after-school position with two wonderful girls, one of whom has Down Syndrome. I also regularly care for my younger neurodivergent cousin when I'm home in Minnesota, which has given me meaningful experience in meeting kids where they're at to best support them. I have reliable transportation and a (surprisingly) flexible schedule this semester and summer to accommodate your family's needs-so if you're looking for someone fun, responsible, and experienced, I'd love to help out!
