About Sophia

Hi! My name is Sophia and I'm a college student. I have experience working with kids with and without special needs, and find a lot of joy in childcare. The majority of my experience comes from camp counselor settings, but I've also enjoyed working in a preschool environment. Being able to guide and support children is a privilege and I love to see little people on the beginning of their journey. I'm open to working with young children (6 months +) up to teens. My special needs experience surrounds neurodivergent children. My goal in all of my endeavors is to lead with love and compassion to create a safe and successful environment. My go-to activity is drawing and I'll always bring some crayons, but if the child wants to explain their entire dinosaur collection or special interest, then I will listen with open ears!
